C.B.S. Midwifery was established in 1982, and by 2007 had helped birth over 2,800 babies. Obstetrical and well-woman gynecology care is provided by Barbara Sellars, CNM and Elizabeth Boyce, CNM, who are certified by the American College of Nurse-Midwives. Barbara, herself, has helped birth over 1600 babies. Elizabeth Boyce, CNM joined the practice in January 2001.
Midwifery is recognized as a licensed profession by the state of New York. Barbara and Elizabeth have the legal authority to write prescriptions.
Our Office Staff
Our receptionists, Amalfi, Faiza and Catherine are friendly and professional and do their best to ensure that patients are comfortable while in our office.
Catherine is 22 years old. She is currently attending Hunter College. The light of her life is her two year old daughter Victoria.
Amalfi is 20 years old. She's majoring in Radiology at Bronx Community College. She has a one year old son named Kaden.
Faiza is 22 years old. She currently attends Hunter College for nursing.
Stacy will be attending Hunter College for nursing in the fall.
Anel, our newest staff member, will be attending school in the fall.
Connie, our office manager, can assist with questions about billing and insurance. All of them will make sure your needs are taken care of.
