Back-Up Physicians

Columbus Circle OB/GYN provides backup for CBS Midwifery.  Drs. Edward Jew, Harry Lee and Jacques Moritz provide consultations and perform services outside the scope of midwifery care, including Cesareans.  Their office is at 315 W. 57th St., Suite 203.

Dr. Jaana Rehnstrom began working in our office at 103 Fifth Ave in September 1997.  While her own practice is separate from CBS Midwifery, Dr. Rehnstrom is available to the midwives for consultation on gyn problems and can offer services outside the scope of midwifery to CBS patients who require them.  Dr. Rehnstrom has privileges at Roosevelt Hospital.  She does surgery at Roosevelt as well as in-office procedures such as colposcopies and leeps.  Because she has 2 young children, she is not presently doing obstetrics.
